Class Description
This three-hour, hands on, seminar in social media marketing will walk you through best practices for non-profit professionals from organic search returns to search engine marketing. We’ll look at the promotional opportunities for people and brands on Facebook, Instagram, twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. We’ll discuss your website, what it may or may not be doing for you, and how to make a marked improvement in your organization’s visibility, and your online profile.
Instructor
Alison Davis Curry is the Executive Director of NYDG Foundation. She worked in development for the Institute of Contemporary Art, London, created and ran the development department of The Art Directors Club, and developed content and programs for The One Club. She worked for a decade in publishing, as a Director of Black Book Marketing Group and Graphis Magazine. She serves as Board Chair of NYCCAH, New York City Coalition Against Hunger, and has held board seats at Humane USA PAC and Haiti Cardiac Alliance. Ms. Curry holds a B.A. in the History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.
Continuing Education Hours
Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service is a provider of social work continuing education hours, as approved by the New York State Education Department Board for Social Work.
Completion of this class will result in the receipt of three (3) continuing education hours. CEHs are not awarded for partial completion of the class.
